Samsung Pay Started in India

Samsung Pay is available in India and here how you can get it !

 

Samsung which one of the most leading company in the world, which is working on NFC mobile payment for while now, which is called Samsung Pay.

Now Samsung Pay has officially started in India, where several Banks has signed on it to support it. Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI and Standard Chartered banks will all work with the service. The Paytm wallet is also be compatible.

Since the application has been built by Samsung, so it is available on selected device only now. For accessing this service, you must have one of these device - Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy A7(2016) and Galaxy A5(2016). It is available for early user access only to Samsung smartphone owners. You can add the credit or debit cards of Participating banks on your Samsung Galaxy Smartphones which allow you to make purchases almost everywhere.

How to get Access to Samsung Pay ?

If you have Smartphone which support Samsung Pay, then you can go ahead and choose your credit / debit card. Samsung has partner with the following banks, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis and Standard Chartered Banks fpr credit cards and Axis, HDFC, ICICI and Standard Chartered Bank for debit cards. Whereas American Express and Citibank India are forthcoming issuers on Samsung Pay and their credit cards will be live on the program subsequently. Samsung is also working with other banks to get their cards on this platform.

Next Step is, you have to enter your name, Samsung account user ID (If you have a samsung ID), email ID, Mobile number, and pincode. Once you agree to all the terms and conditions of Samsung Pay, then you will be able to download Samsung Pay on your Smartphone. You can Download Samsung Play apk from Here.

How to Setup for Samsung Pay and Use it ?

Firstly, to get started with the Samsung Pay app, Open the app on your Smartphone (Selected device only support this Service). Add your Samsung Account ID, Provided at the time of registration on your smartphone (Setting > Accounts > Add Samsung Account).

Now follow the Steps :

1. Tap sign-up for registration. Enter your email as the ID and the Password associated with it.

2. Next you will be prompted to scan your fingerprints, Register the most convenient finger and finished the finger scan.

3. As an alternative, you can also input a specific PIN code to authenticate transactions.

4. Use the camera to auto-read card details or enter the card details manually. Enter the OTP which came in your device to confirm the  Payment process.

That's it, you have successfully setup Samsung pay account on your Smartphones.
