Soft reset is the easiest to perform on any mobile phone. To soft reset a phone is to simply power on and power off as we usually do our cell phone.

some other phone may only offer power key feature and the phones operator will have to power the phone on manually once it’s completely powered off.

Note : A soft reset will not delete Anything from your mobile phone and cause no loss of information from your phone.

Hard Reset

What is Hard reset ?

A Hard Reset reverts a phone to its original settings and a clean OS (Operating System) removing all data and information added to the cell phone by the mobile phone user. In essence a Hard Reset erases everything from the phone and puts the phone back to like new condition as though it’s brand new right out of the box.

How to make hard reset ?

All phones have different steps on performing hard reset depending upon the phones and operating sytems , the model of the phone , and what software version it was running on the phone.

Here i will show you how hard reset is done in android phone.
Before doing hard reset make sure that you have backup your phone and contacts because hard reset will format everything on your phone.

Two ways of doing hard reset .

1. Go to setting -> Backup and reset -> Erase everything.

2.Second way of doing is very tricky.

Press and hold the correct keys to boot the device into recovery mode. This will vary from device to device.
I will give you some examples

Nexus 7: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power
Samsung Galaxy S3: Volume Up + Home + Power
Motorola Droid X: Home + Power
Devices With Camera Buttons: Volume Up + Camera

If your device isn’t on this list and none of the above methods work, do a Google search for the name of your device and “recovery mode” – or look in the device’s manual or support pages.

Now release the buttons when the device powered on with android logo
